Koala Disco is a five-piece band that refuses to fit into a single mold. Drawing from a deep well of influences, they weave together the energy of post-punk, the oddball charm of 80s new wave, and the wild experimentalism of progressive rock. Their music channels the likes of Talking Heads, DEVO, and The B-52’s, while incorporating the boundary-pushing mentality of Frank Zappa and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.
Despite their genre-bending tendencies, one thing remains constant: Koala Disco thrives on unpredictability. Their sound is high-energy, explosive, and unafraid to take risks.
